Pat Comiskey

Pat specializes in business advisory services, including tax planning and compliance, business valuations, and retirement/estate planning. Pat oversees all tax and tax-related engagements performed by the firm. He founded Comiskey & Company in 1984.

Pat is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado, Pueblo, Colorado, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He is licensed to practice in Colorado, California, Wyoming, and Louisiana.

JENNIFER MALIAR, C.P.A.                                  


Jennifer specializes in auditing and consulting services to public companies.  She is licensed in the states of Colorado, New York, Arizona, and Missouri.

Jennifer oversees all audit and accounting engagements performed by the firm, and frequently consults with clients on financial, regulatory, or technology related issues. She joined Comiskey & Company in 1988.  Jennifer graduated from Dowling College in Oakdale NY.

Lori specializes in accounting and auditing services to governmental, construction and software companies.  She frequently handles special project engagements, including CAM charges audits, fraud procedures, and due diligence engagements.  Before joining the firm in 1995, Lori worked in the automotive and environmental consulting industries.

Lori graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

Christine is a graduate of the Business Honors Program with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a Major in Accounting from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.  Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Christine had over six years of public accounting experience with a Big 5 firm, and four years of industry-based accounting and managment experience.

DANIEL B. NELSON, C.P.A.                                   

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Adams State College.  Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Dan worked in the tax department of a private industry company.

DAVID BROUGHAM, C.P.A.                           

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Denver.  A long time Colorado resident, Dave worked for several years in and out of the public accounting profession, as well as owning and operating a video store.

RICHARD SOMMER, C.P.A.                           

Richard is a talented and resourceful professional with over 20 years of experience in Public Accounting.  Richard specializes in all areas of taxation; including preparation, planning and representation before the IRS and is registered in both Colorado and Oklahoma.

Richard is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a Major in Accounting.

CORY BELCHER, C.P.A.                                   

Cory holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a Major in Finance from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas. He has 15 years of Controller experience in the private sector and has recently passed the CPA Examination. Cory joined the firm in 2008.

Katie graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Katie joined our staff in 1997.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Jeff joined our staff in 2006 after spending 6 months as an accountant for the State of Colorado.

Sarah is a graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Sarah joined our firm in 2007.

Michelle is a graduate of Colorado State University – Pueblo, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Michelle worked in public accounting for two years.

Will holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Oakland University, Michigan. He became a member of Comiskey & Company in 2008.

Tyricia is currently working on her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the Colorado State University Pueblo and a Masters in Business Administration for Business Management.
